These terms and conditions apply to all online transactions you enter into with Maloneys Grocer. By accessing our website and ordering products from us, you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms.

Creating an account

When creating an account with us you will need to provide all relevant details including delivery address and contact details. It is your responsibility to keep personal details up to date and accurate.

You can choose your own password when creating an account. It is your responsibility to take reasonable steps to protect the security of your account including who has access to it and your computer.

We may refuse an account or any orders at our discretion. At our discretion we may terminate your account at anytime.

Orders

All orders need to be placed on our website. If you are having difficulties with the internet or do not have a computer, at our discretion we will take orders over the phone.

We will do our best to accommodate any changes you wish to make to your order prior to it being packed and dispatched.

If you decide to cancel your order it must be done prior to the day of your nominated delivery date.

Due to fluctuating produce prices orders cannot be placed more than seven days in advance.

Delivery days

When you place your order on our website you will be advised of the delivery days and times that we offer. We are unable to deliver outside of these timeframes.

Delivery zones

Currently we deliver to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and parts of the Sydney CBD. With three stores in the East we have a home delivery service available to our local customers for their convenience. We are unable to deliver outside of this area.

2008, 2010, 2011, 2015 & 2016 

Eastern Suburbs:
2017, 2018, 2019 - 2036 

Delivery fees

Home delivery is free for your first order. For additional orders the following charges apply:

$150 - $199 $8.00
$200 - $249 $6.00
$250 +  Free

This delivery fee covers costs such as website maintenance and staff required to pack and deliver your order.

Unattended deliveries

Whilst we prefer you to be at home to accept your delivery special delivery instructions can be provided at the time of placing your order. If there are no delivery instructions your order will be left outside your front door and we will take no responsibility for missing or damaged items. Should we feel there is no appropriate place to leave your order we will take it back to your local store where you can either pick it up personally or we will re deliver at an additional cost of $10.00.

We will not be responsible for any loss or damage which occurs to items after delivery due to late collection or otherwise.

Product information

Whilst every effort is made to keep the website up to date with accurate information and product images, there can be a time delay updating products on our website. We recommend that you read all product labels carefully before consuming any products.

Returns & Credits

Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We guarantee to deliver high quality, market fresh produce direct to your door.

Should you be dissatisfied with the quality of any item we will provide a full credit. We do ask that you notify us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery.

In the event that an item is damaged or the wrong item has been delivered, where possible we will re deliver with a replacement or provide a full refund.

We will not be responsible for any loss or damage which occurs to items after delivery due to late collection or otherwise.

Out of stock items & product substitutions

In the event that a product is out of stock we will make every effort to contact you. If we can’t reach you we will replace any out of stock products with obvious substitutions. If you would prefer not to have your products substituted please specify this at the time of placing your order.

If we cannot find a suitable replacement your credit card will be refunded accordingly.

Payments

You can pay online using your credit card or debit card that displays the VISA, Mastercard or Amex logo. We do not accept cash, cheques or direct deposits.

All credit card payments are processed using the secure, third party Shopify Payments gateway.  Shopify Payments uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and industry standard encryption to ensure that your credit card details are never compromised.
